Education K to Post-Secondary
- We will support organizations such as the Idaho Education Association to ensure school teachers receive fair treatment.
- Universities and colleges staff are state employees and receive state benefits.
- We recognize that a good system of education from Kindergarten through post-secondary is essential to all other IPEA focus areas.
- Continuing cuts to our colleges and universities will cost us our future for generations as our young people leave the state to obtain post-secondary education and fail to return to Idaho.
- Cutting funds to education at all levels leads to brain-drain and is detrimental to Idaho's future.
- A good education sys-tem creates a better work force and makes Idaho more attractive to business.
What is good for public employees is good for Idaho.
